Successful start-up: The first international seminar held by the International Consortium The Platform of Economic Security in Kiev and Vinnitsa
10.10.2011Representatives of Information Rating Agency Credo Line took part in international seminar, held by International Consortium The Platform of Economic Security on October 4th and 6th, 2011. The seminar named 'Economic security of Polish companies in Ukraine' was carried out in Kyiv and Vinnitsa in co-operation with International Association of Polish Businessmen in Ukraine with the support of General Consulate of Poland in Vinnitsa. The seminar was organized for Polish companies and investors in Ukraine.
Managing partner of Credo Line, Mr. Aleksandr Potetiuiev, gave speech on “Assessment of creditworthiness and financial stability of Ukrainian partners”. Besides main principles applied by Credo Line in its activity, as well as in practice all over the globe in contactors’ credit evaluation, in its speech Mr. Potetiuiev mentioned that one of the basic factors indicating reliability of a partner is openness and desire of the latter to be as transparent for its creditors and investors as possible. Moreover, members and guests of seminar agreed that Ukrainian way of carrying of economic activity makes businessmen conduct their businesses outside the box in comparison with 'Western' ways that therefore creates the necessity of creditworthiness evaluation from different points of view by specialized Ukrainian credit experts.
Besides Credo Line representatives, experts on seminar of economic security were professionals in spheres of audit, collection, security and corruption resistance from Poland and Ukraine. Along with the theme of creditworthiness assessment, issues related to economic raider attacks, resistance to pressure from tax and controlling bodies, counteraction to corruption and physical security of businesses in Ukraine were discussed on the seminar.
International Consortium The Platform of Economic Security is a voluntary association of companies. The purpose of the Consortium - the creation of practical solutions in a range that ensures greater safety in national and international economic exchange, intended primarily for small and medium businesses, which is particularly vulnerable to hazards in the course of business. The working plans of the Consortium are related to the main provisions 'Government Action Plan' to combat organized crime in Poland adopted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration of RP in particular, with itsregulations in the field of improved methods of combating organized crime by strengthening the role of social prophylaxis.
