The price of April futures for Brent on the London Stock Exchange ICE Futures at 7:09 CZK on Tuesday was $ 96.80 per barrel, which is $ 1.41 (1.48%) higher than the closing price of the previous session. According to the results of trading on Monday, these contracts rose by 2% to $ 95.39 per barrel.
The price of futures for WTI in March at electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) is currently $ 93.86 per barrel, which is $ 2.79 (3.06%) higher than the final value of the session on Friday, when the value of these contracts fell by 0.8%. WTI was not traded in the United States on Monday. The March contracts for WTI expire with the closing of the market on Tuesday.
