Fitch raised Ukraine’s long-term rating in foreign currency

20.11.2015

International rating agency Fitch raised long-term foreign currency issuer default rating (IDR) of Ukraine from "RD" to the level of "CCC", according to the agency press release as of 18.112015.

Long-term local currency rating was affirmed at 'CCC' level.

The agency also raised short-term foreign currency IDR from "RD" to "C".

It is to be recalled that in October, Fitch has cut long-term foreign currency IDR of Ukraine from "C"  to "RD" (“restricted default”).
